LIVING THE DREAM
So, Aunties, don't get used to posts every day, but I have the time with Daddio home, so I'll do it...
Last night we had an outing for a celebratory dinner compliments of Jack's athlete Whitney. YUM! Her roommates appeared, scooped up Nessers, and disappeared with her until after dinner. See Daddio showing Whitney Vanessa's birth video recorded on his cell phone. Whitney made Vanessa a Fairy Princess blanket as a gift. Jack thinks it's a SuperDad cape.
Poor Nestle came home and had some ominous belches, then spit up her night's meals and some stinky acid on her Dad. We felt bad, but she went on to drop into a deep sleep that lasted 4 hours uninterrupted by digestion. Usually we have to hold her upright and can't lay her down flat because of that dratted acid reflux. But, truth be told, having that little gipper wadded up on our chest as she sleeps is pretty much what we've been dreaming of for, oh, seven years.
Today was beautiful so we took baby and puppy dog to the beach for some R & R. Nessa looked hot in her pink headband, but it went catty-wampus by the time we left for home. A good time was had by all.
