CAMERA FOUND!

Oh, Halelujiah! Today I sqeezed a solitary load of laundry into my day and lo and behold, there was our digital camera, tucked in the pocket of a fleece jacket. I thought I had checked every pocket, but thankfully I hadn't. No wonder no one answered my lost & found ads.

To celebrate our reunion, the camera and I enlisted our favorite subject for a rapid-fire photo shoot. Here are the results, taken just today, to keep y'all up to the minute on Van's life.

Today Vanessa is 14 weeks old. Such a cutie! I will say it is hard to capture her full repetoire of smiles and giggly expressions, since she becomes fascinated with the camera and doesn't know how to pose yet. In this shot, I had to hold the camera over my head and hope I was pointing down on her.

In this next picture, she was waving her arms and legs so hard I would not have been surprised if she had lifted off the changing pad.

Can anyone else see the strong Jennings male influence in our beautiful baby daughter's face? This morning her open-mouthed, full faced grin looked exactly like my father's (her grandfather's). Watch out, world!
